Flins is the Wendish god of death. I haven’t been able to learn much about him other than he is usually depicted with a lion on his shoulder.
There is a large stone near Szprotawa in Poland, referred to as the Flins, but its connection with any worship of Flins is largely conjectural. Nonetheless, the Flins, both the stone and the god, form one of the subjects of research of the local historical museum, Muzeum Ziemi Szprotawskiej.
